CAN Percussion Trio ~  Percussion Workshop

Brace yourself for a range of exotic timbres and pulsing rhythms as three masters of the orchestral percussion lead a free percussion workshop, open to the public from 11am to 1pm at St. Patrick's Bandroom, Frenchville Lane, Galway.

Fresh from their debut national tour, CAN Trio is the brainchild of Noel Eccles, musical director of the first Riverdance tour and former principal percussionist with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra. Noel will be joined by Chris Stynes and Alex Petcu, two of Ireland’s rising percussionists. This event is presented in conjunction with Macnas (http://www.macnas.com) and Access Music Project (http://www.accessmusicproject.ie)
