love:live music took place on Thursday 21st June as part of celebrations for Ireland's National Music Day. Presented by Music Network in association with RTÉ lyric fm, love:live music is all about creating a free music experience to capture the imagination and showcase Ireland's diverse music talent.
The headline event in Dublin was Lá Ceoil, a free showcase concert in Dublin's Meeting House Square from 6pm-10pm.
Funded by the Arts Council supporting Traditional Arts. Lá Ceoil welcomed an outstanding line-up of musicians including Buffalo in the Castle, We Banjo 3, The Unwanted, Tarab, Mick O'Brien, members of the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and DIT Traditional Music Ensemble and special guest Seán Mac Erlaine along with the world première of an exclusive commission by RTÉ lyric fm composer in residence Linda Buckley.
